I like to try to keep up with technology as much as possible and I am always looking at new ways to improve current systems that I talk about. Recently, I heard about the massive amounts of money that big companies such google and LG are putting into designing a modular smart phone. Basically your phone will be separated into different compartments that can be interchanged to suit the customers needs. For example if you like taking photos you can have a bigger camera, if you like music you have a bigger speaker, etc. This is not a new concept, NASA have been using it for years with the international space station. Where if one compartment gets damaged the people on board can be safe in another area rather than the whole space station imploding.
Now you may say Colin that’s great news, well done on the tech update but how does it relate to my business. Well if you think about your business like a smart phone, every business has slightly different needs.
